Melbourne Public & Community Security Guards

Educational environments across Melbourne, such as Carlton, Footscray, Sunshine, and Frankston, require safety protocols to safeguard students, staff, and visitors. Metro Guards strengthens campus security by monitoring perimeters, preventing unauthorised access, and supporting emergency procedures.

Our trained school security officers ensure only authorised individuals enter while maintaining a welcoming, safe, community-friendly environment.

• ID verification for staff, contractors, and visitors, and ongoing patrols throughout playgrounds, classrooms, buildings, and parking areas.
• Gate supervision during drop-off/pick-up and rapid response to incidents involving student safety or property protection.

Melbourne facilities such as libraries, community hubs, municipal buildings, and public service centres across areas are vulnerable to vandalism, antisocial behaviour, and unauthorised loitering.

Metro Guards supports councils by managing entry and exit points with strict access control and patrolling public spaces to deter disturbances. We help councils maintain safe and functional community operations across busy precincts. Our security guards maintain law and order by:

• Monitoring CCTV and alarm systems
• Handling visitor screening and maintaining orderly queues
• Supporting after-hours programs and events
• Fast response rate to emergencies

Melbourne's religious and cultural sites, such as mosques, temples, churches, and cultural halls, often host large gatherings, posing high security risks of vandalism, overcrowding, or unauthorized access.

Metro Guards enhances protection by providing trained guards with cultural awareness and respectful conduct. Our approach focuses on safety without disrupting the welcoming and spiritual atmosphere.

• Managing crowds during services, festivals, and ceremonies, and monitoring entrances to prevent unauthorised access.
• Conducting patrols around prayer halls, courtyards, and public areas, and coordinating parking and traffic flow.

Beyond schools, council facilities, and places of worship, Metro Guards provides comprehensive security coverage for all types of public and community spaces across Melbourne. Our community-focused approach ensures every venue receives respectful, professional protection.

From libraries and community centres to cultural venues and public events, we deliver consistent, welcoming security that maintains safety while preserving the open, accessible nature of community spaces.

• Site assessments to identify vulnerabilities and create community-appropriate security plans.
• Flexible deployment options including full-time guards, part-time coverage, or event-based security.
