Our Story
Seventeen Years Protecting Melbourne Businesses
Metro Guards is a licensed, owner-operated security company serving Melbourne CBD and all suburbs. ISO certified, CM3-certified, ASIAL member, and Victoria Police-licensed, with a team available every hour of every day.
Built on Accountability and Sustained by Results
We founded Metro Guards on a straightforward principle: Melbourne businesses deserve a security partner with genuine accountability.
Seventeen years later, we remain owner-operated. The people making decisions about your security are the same people whose names are on the licence. This structure drives a standard of care that larger, faceless operations rarely match.
We have worked with The Pancake Parlour, YMCA, CFA, and Northcote High School, alongside retail chains, construction developers, healthcare facilities, and community organisations across Melbourne. Many have been with us for years. We consider that the most meaningful endorsement we can offer.
Why Choose Us
What Sets Us Apart
Owner-operated Accountability
There is no intermediary between you and the people responsible for your security. Decisions are made by the same individuals who hold the licence.
Around-the-clock Availability
Our Melbourne-based command centre operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. When something requires immediate attention, we are reachable.
Tailored Security Planning
Every site has different risks and requirements. We assess your environment before deployment and build a security plan around your specific needs.
Licensed Personnel
Every officer is licensed under the Private Security Act 2004 (Vic), background-checked, insured, and fully briefed on your site before arrival.
Proven Track Record
Seventeen years of operation. The Australian Achiever Award for outstanding service. A client retention record built on consistency rather than promises.
